Institution: Interdict Bio
Department, Program, or Lab: Biochemistry
Position: Numerous Positions Available

Description

Interdict Bio is a seed-stage biotech startup in San Francisco seeking a talented and motivated individual to join its biochemistry team and support its mission toward developing a novel small molecule therapeutics platform for addressing historically undruggable targets. We have multiple positions open, including the following:

1) Investigator/Senior Investigator – Genomics/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry - This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a VC-funded early-stage biotech company, and to grow within a vibrant team dedicated to the discovery of innovative, targeted small molecule therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have an experimental and computational biology background working with a multidisciplinary team of experts developing our high-throughput platform assays for drug discovery and design. An ideal applicant will have a strong background in RNA biology and computational biology. The candidate will be immersed in several high- paced, exciting projects at the intersection of biochemistry, cell biology, and computational chemistry with opportunities to learn and grow in new directions.

2) Research Assistant – Molecular Biology/Cellular Biology/Biochemistry - This position is a fantastic opportunity to join a VC-funded early-stage biotech company, and to grow within a vibrant team dedicated to the discovery of innovative, targeted small molecule therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have experience in molecular and cellular biology, including molecular cloning and human tissue culture. Experience in stable cell line generation, lentiviral or CRISPR-based genetic engineering is a plus. An ideal candidate will also have passion to learn techniques in biochemistry and biochemical reconstitution. The candidate will be immersed in several high-paced, exciting projects at the intersection of biochemistry, cell biology, and computational chemistry with opportunities to learn and grow in new directions.
