The lab will host up to 6 students/postdocs performing experimental or combined experimental/computational research and additional 2 trainees performing purely computational research.

I believe students that want to analyze their own data benefit a lot, which also improves the scientific product.

So everybody in the lab will have access to hpc computing, and a supportive environment in the lab is promoted even if it means most of the time initially is invested in learning how to analyze data.

We run several basic science projects aiming to understand specific RBPs implicated in disease, but also to identify and generalize basic concepts in Post Transcriptional Gene Regulation.

In addition we develop methods that among others also aim to ask our questions directly on patient-derived cells without culturing them in the lab.

In the future, these will hopefully promote new insight on disease and therapeutics.

Traveling abroad for training is also an adventure, you could start by contacting me at [email protected]
