First-gen PhD student investigating pre-mRNA splicing mechanisms in rare diseases, and the development of splice-switching antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to correct aberrant splicing in rare diseases.

1. The roles post-transcriptional mechanisms have in the etiology of rare diseases.
2. Pre-mRNA splicing.
3. RNA structure.
4. RNA-based precision medicine and their mechanism of action.
5. iPSC-based Disease modeling.
