More than thirty years ago, I was a postdoc at Stanford University and used to attend the Bay Area RNA club meetings. Once I established my lab in Korea, we investigated cancer-related RNA alterations, such as alternative splicing and 3'UTR diversity, and RNA binding proteins (RBPs) in cancer cells. We studied how RNA alterations are generated and regulated by oncogenic RBPs to identify cancer-related RNA-RBP networks. Understanding the mechanism of cancer-promoting roles of aberrant RNAs and RBPs can provide avenues for RNA-based novel cancer therapeutics.

We are still accepting POSTER abstracts. Once you have submitted an abstract, and it is approved, it will appear here a few days ahead of the meeting.
