I did my undergraduate and MSc in Biochemistry at University of Belgrade, Serbia, on protein-protein interactions. I did my PhD with Andrei Lupas at Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tuebingen, Germany on protein evolution and postdoctoral fellow with Rachel Green at Johns Hopkins University working on miRNAs and mRNA surveillance mechanisms. My lab works on mechanisms of post-transcriptional control by miRNAs and RBPs, as well as on gene regulatory defining interactions of mRNA, nascent polypeptide chain and ribosome.
