At the University of Manchester, where I am a President's Doctoral Scholar, I investigate the role of RNA and Ribosome binding proteins in the regulation of protein synthesis in response to oxidative stress. I enjoy science communication via talks, SciArt, to a wide variety of audiences including scientists, non-scientists, adults, and schoolchildren. I plan to focus my career on drug development and RNA therapeutics after spending the past seven years conducting basic research in laboratories. I foresee myself working in translation research, honing my science communication skills, and concentrating on and promoting sustainable practices in the research labs since good research can only be excellent if it is sustainable. I enjoy spending time in nature, taking photographs, and dancing when I'm not in the lab.
As I near the end of my doctorate degree in a few months, I am actively seeking postdoctoral-industry or industrial research opportunities in RNA therapies in the United Kingdom. I am open to international collaborations. Please forward any good opportunities to me via email at [email protected] or direct message on Twitter or LinkedIn.
