Liv is a research intern at Stanford University’s Medical School, working at the Levitt Lab (PI is 2013 Nobel Laureate in chemistry, Prof. Michael Levitt). Liv’s research focuses on a tool called PDBCleanV2, which simplifies and corrects structure files sourced from the RCSB Protein Data Bank that relate to proteins. Concurrently, Liv is a straight-A honors Student at Los Altos High School (LAHS), and co-founder of the Life Science Alliance Club, which aims to educate fellow students about life science research. In addition to her research at Stanford and attending LAHS, Liv is an intern at the radiation protection company, StemRad, where she is working to advance adoption of the 360 Gamma shield that protects first responders from Acute Radiation Syndrome (ARS). Liv was formerly an intern at Bioz, an AI-based search engine that leverages scientific journal publications to guide scientists towards optimal reagents and tools for life science research experimentation. Liv is extremely interested in exploring the fields of structural biology, genetics, and computational biology.
