I did my PhD in Dr. Shangqin Guo's lab at Yale University, studying gene expression regulation during normal and malignant hematopoiesis. Currently, as a postdoc in Dr. Leor Weinberger's lab at Gladstone Institutes, I'm investigating the role of gene expression noise (the fluctuation in RNA level) in cell fate specification, both in cancer and during normal development. I'm also interested in the regulation of gene expression noise in gene circuitry.
