I am a junior specialist with the Lowe lab, studying tRNAs across the tree of life using computational and experimental techniques. I explore tRNA sequence space to identify instances of tRNA specialization within and outside the context of translation. To complement my computational work, I specialize in constructing tRNA-seq libraries to simultaneously profile expression and modification. In the next few years I hope to begin a PhD program in the bay area. In my free time I am a road cyclist, carnivorous plant grower and novice mycologist.
