My broad research interests center on bacterial stress responses. I aim to use the cold shock response as the model system to dissect the fundamental but
largely understudied post-transcriptional control mechanisms, focusing on RNA regulation and ribosome function, and to establish a comprehensive cross-species comparison of the response at both the organismal and molecular levels.
