I did my PhD work in the lab of Roy Parker at the University of Colorado, Boulder. There I studied the role of RNA in the assembly of cytoplasmic non-membrane bound organelles called stress granules and quickly fell in love with RNA. Now, I'm a postdoc in Kathy Collins lab delving into the unique biology and biochemistry of eukaryotic retroelements.
