I did my PhD at Prof. Igor Ulitsky's lab at the Weizmann Institute, studying transcriptome-wide RNA nuclear export mechanisms regulating coding and non-coding transcripts. Currently, at Prof. Leor Weinberger's lab at Gladstone Institute I am interested in gene expression cell-to-cell variability ('noise') regulation and roles in biological processes, particularly development and cell fate specification. I employ the nematode C. elegans to address these questions.
